David Benito-Alifonso


David is a chemical biologist co-inventor of Glaia’s photosynthetic enhancement technology developed at the University of Bristol. This technology improves plants’ performance, allowing them to make a better use of the available resources (water, sunlight, and CO2) increasing productivity with the same amount of inputs, reducing the CO2 emission per tone of produce. In 2019 David left the university and together with Imke Sittel founded Glaia to bring the photosynthetic enhancement technology to the market.
