Jacob Bussman

Jacob P. Bussmann is one of the founders and managing director of SeedForward. He studied forestry at TU Dresden and holds a Master degree in Entrepreneurship and Management from Wageningen University. In 2017 he and his partner Jan Ritter founded SeedForward based in Osnabrück, Germany. They have ever long been passionate about finding systemicsolutions for a sustainable future of agriculture. So far the startup focuses on the quality of soil as production base and started making organic seed coating and fertilizers, which have a wide range of effects, with the ability to protect seeds, strengthen root growth and enhance resilience of plants. As president of the EIT Climate-KIC Alumni Organisation Jacob P. Bussmann additionally deals with innovative entrepreneurship, which addresses the challenges of land use and resource management.
