Till Weidner

Till Weidner is a postdoctoral researcher at the Sustainable Process Systems Engineering Lab at ETH Zurich, evaluating the sustainability of green technologies and energy systems. He received his D.Phil from the University of Oxford, where he investigated several aspects of urban and controlled environment agriculture, such as biowaste integration, energy efficiency and renewable energy use. During his doctoral studies, he was also an advisor to social enterprises in the agri-food sector through the Ashoka Globalizer program. Prior to his research, Till worked as a management consultant for McKinsey & Company and as a microelectronics technician for Robert Bosch GmbH. He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering (M.Eng) from the University of Manchester (UK) and the Universidad de Oviedo (Spain).
